”We have been told for years that abortion is a safe, simple procedure which removes a “blob of tissue,” a “clump of cells,” or a “product of conception” from a woman’s uterus. These terms are all lies. Abortion is neither safe nor simple. It does not simply remove a “blob of tissue” from the uterus. Abortion takes the life of a living human being.

Medical science has proven that life begins at the time of conception. When the sperm enters the egg, a new human life begins. The 23 chromosones from the father and the 23 chromosomes from the mother combine to give this new person his/her own 46 chromsomes, which determine what sex the child will be, what color eyes and hair they will have, how tall or short they will be, etc. A new human being has been created and deserves to be treated with the respect and dignity of any other human being.

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise you You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made

At 24 days, the heart has regular beats or pulsations
At 42 days, the skeleton is complete and reflexes are present
At 43 days, electrical brain waves can be recorded
At 49 days, fingers, toes, and ears are complete
At 56 days, all organs are functioning
At the 9th and 10th week, he/she squints and swallows, and fingerprints are evident
At the 11th and 12th week, arms and legs move, and he/she sucks his/her thumb
At the 16th week, he/she grasps with his/her hands
At the 18th week, vocal cords work and he/she can cry
At the 20th week, hair present on head, weighs approximately 1 pound, and is approximately 12 inches long
